On March 6 the Royal Oak Intermediate Year 7 and Year 8 Boys Softball teams went to the Central Zone tournament. The conditions were perfect for softball and the two teams played against some tough opponents. There were mixed results throughout the day and each game saw a number of huge hits. We’re sure that both of the teams enjoyed the day. In the end the Year 8's came fourth and the Year 7's fifth. The Year 8's will take their skills on to high school and the Year 7's will use their skills next year at Royal Oak Intermediate.

Year 8 Team:
Whetu Pompey, Jordan Balfour-Bary, Manisela Hala, Hira-Lee Jensen, Fred Taupau, William Tonorio, Jamal Roebeck, Jordan Kolose, Elia Fata, Antony Vavia, Jay Ratu, Phillip Sinel, Robert Gray.
