On September 11 the Royal Oak Intermediate Squash teams went to the Royal Oak Racquets Club to compete in the Central Zone Squash Competition. Our teams were competing against students from all over Auckland and the standard of play was high. Overall the boys team placed second and the girls team won the tournament. A big thanks to Ms Roberts and Mr Palmer for supporting the teams. A special thank you must go to Mr Oakley for organising the Central Zone Competition.
Girls Team:
Paxton Brown, Hayleigh Niao, Natasha Ching and Te Aroha Pairama.
Boys Team:
Ryan Palmer, Tom Bertenshaw, David Wong, Tom Knight, Jordan Balfour-Barry, Adam Laycock, Caleb Amiatu and Euan Fane.
