History Of Royal Oak Intermediate

Royal Oak Intermediate School is located at 74 Symonds Street, Onehunga. It was originally known as Manukau Intermediate when it was established over 60 years ago, in 1943. Prior to this, the school was a zoo, owned and operated by John Boyd from 1912 - 1922. During the Second World War it was also briefly used by the Wilson Home.
